Alex is a 20-year veteran of the Iowa Army National Guard. Throughout his career, he has served full time in various roles and deployed to Iraq and Kosovo. Alex has also served on the Johnston and Grimes Metro Fire Department for 10 years as an EMT-Firefighter.

    Alex started Forever Floors Epoxy in the Fall of 2020 with the goal to transform garages, trailers or any floor into beautiful spaces.

    Alex is married to his best friend and beautiful wife, Amanda. Together they have two children, Emily and Jack, Teddy the family dog, and Izzy the cat.

​

    When he's not working at Camp Dodge or finishing floors, Alex loves to spend time with his family and enjoys the outdoors. He looks forward to boating and annual trips to the Black Hills in South Dakota.
